About Harry
A recent graduate from UCL, where I read History and Jewish Studies, I am the author of an upcoming book, and I spend most of my time writing and researching. My true passion, however, is teaching, and I have taught a range of students from diverse backgrounds in a range of different settings. I strive to make the daunting prospect of essay writing less terrifying, to make the complex worlds of the humanities digestible, and, above all, to cater each lesson to the needs of each student.

Every student deserves a personalised approach. For that reason, I am flexible in how I teach. However, generally speaking, from my experience of teaching many students, things work best when each lesson is complicated free as possible. That's why I focus not only on content, but I go through essay practise, writing techniques, and new approaches to writing which will unleash the potential of each student.

Harry tutored my child Kimberley for their GCSE history exam. They absolutely loved Harry’s warm and approachable teaching style and his undeniable passion for the topic which was completely infectious. They had experienced many tutors previously and I can safely say that Harry was their firm favourite! Their grades improved from
a solid 6/7 to eventually achieving a 9 thanks to Harry.
Harry was completely respectful in using their preferred personal pronouns which made them feel safe and cared for. Come rain, sleet or snow Harry would always be at our house on time and never so much asked for a cup of tea.
A great tutor and someone Kimberley cannot speak highly enough of!I couldn’t recommend Harry enough, his dedication and commitment to making sure I had all the exam techniques and information to flourish helped me massively. Without his help I wouldn’t have thrived and achieved as well I did without him. He was able to teach me all the exam techniques that made the exams much simpler than what schools teach. Thank you again !!
I know Harry from our joint community work. He is an exceptionally enthusiastic educator, and has worked many teaching roles to young children and adults with the upmost care and attentiveness. He is patient and understands the differing needs of children.
