About Nadine

I have had a love of numbers since a very young age and was always pushed to develop this meaning I was able to pass my Maths GCSE in Year 9 and because of this success was able to take an additional GCSE in Statistics.
This passion has gone from strength to strength in my professional life and I am now a strong educator, dedicated to providing an outstanding service to all of my students. My drive comes from when the student is able to understand the subject and is no longer nervous or put off from completing a task. I have spent the last few years planning, teaching and assessing for a small group of students with learning difficulties and for classes of 30+, enabling them to feel confident when completing everyday tasks and assessments.

About the lesson

Every child is unique and deserves to be treated as such. I believe that there is nothing a child cannot learn there are only teachers who are not able to adapt their strategies in order to support the pupil.
Whether it is through play, worksheets, projects or trips within the local area, there are always ways to appeal to the child's interest so that they are enthusiastic about learning.

Nadine is an exceptional tutor. My children attend the school Nadine use to teach and I felt reassured she would be the perfect tutor for my children.
She’s committed to her tutoring, patient and kind. My children have learnt so much since last year they are in the highest maths groups. She’s taught them in a way where they can easily explain to myself and husband how they worked out the answers and it’s helped their confidence. Nadine you are a Godsend!!

Nadz is unbelievably passionate about all children that she teaches. She works tirelessly to ensure she differentiates each task to their individual needs. She was able to make quick progress with lower ability year 6 pupils, who were (thanks to her) prepared for SATS and did so much better than ever predicted.

In the first lesson I would like to give the student an assessment which will allow me to devise a programme that is specific to them and the areas that they find difficult. During this time I would also like to discuss what their general likes and dislikes are, as this can also be fed into the service.
