About Roger

I'm Roger, a passionate and experienced science educator with a strong background in Physics, Electronics, and general sciences. With degrees in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Physics, and a PGCE (QTS), I've had the privilege of teaching and tutoring students from primary to university level across a range of subjects. What drives me is the joy of sharing knowledge and watching my students grow in confidence and understanding. I've always been fascinated by the way science and maths can help us understand the world around us, and I'm committed to making these subjects accessible and enjoyable for everyone. With patience, clarity, and enthusiasm, I bring a calm and engaging approach to every session, helping you achieve your goals and develop a lifelong love for learning.

About the lesson

My approach to private tutoring is centred around making complex concepts clear, practical, and enjoyable. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to suit your unique learning style. Using diagrams, analogies, and real-life applications, I break down difficult topics into manageable chunks, helping you build confidence and a deeper understanding of the subject. Whether you're preparing for exams or just need help catching up, my calm and engaging teaching style ensures that you feel supported and motivated. My goal is not just to help you achieve academic success, but to foster a genuine love for science and maths.
