About Prerna

Bonjour! I’m a bilingual Canadian who completed my high school studies entirely in French from Montreal, QC and developed a deep appreciation for the language and culture. Being fluent in both English and French allows me to bridge the gap for learners — making French accessible, enjoyable, and relevant to everyday life. I’m passionate about helping others gain confidence in speaking and understanding French, whether it’s for school, travel, or career advancement. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and adaptable to each student’s pace and learning goals. When I’m not tutoring, you’ll find me exploring new languages, reading, and connecting with people who share a love for learning. My goal is simple: to help you feel comfortable, capable, and inspired to communicate in French!

About the lesson

Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to polish your French skills, my lessons are designed to make learning engaging, practical, and enjoyable.

As someone who completed high school studies entirely in French and holds bilingual status in Canada, I understand the challenges and rewards of mastering a second language. My approach focuses on building confidence through conversation, comprehension, and cultural understanding — not just memorizing grammar rules.

Each session is personalized to your goals:
• Strengthening vocabulary and grammar
• Practicing conversational fluency
• Improving writing and reading comprehension
• Preparing for exams, travel, or professional communication

I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and celebrating progress. Together, we’ll make French a language you not only learn — but truly enjoy speaking!
