About Chelsea
My name is Chelsea. I'm a counseling doctoral student. I'm passionate about kids and helping my community. I have tutored several students in Algebra and geometry, and I taught English overseas for a year. I received a one year teaching certificate. I'm able to teach all levels of English, whether it's students learning English as their second language, elementary school students struggling with reading, high school students confused in their literature classes, and even college students needing help with formatting their papers.

I use a varied and age-appropriate methodology base on how the student learns. Many times, a student struggles with a subject because they are not being taught in a way that makes sense to them. For instance, if my student is a visual learner, I utilize white boards, flash cards, or other visual tools.
