About Troy
I’m a 16-year-old who loves helping others learn Chinese in a way that’s both fun and effective. As a swim coach, I’ve learned how to break things down clearly and adapt to each student’s needs, making sure lessons are productive and enjoyable. I’m friendly, approachable, and dedicated to helping you improve at your own pace, whether you're starting out or looking to build on what you already know. Let’s work together to make learning Chinese feel natural and rewarding.

I focus on making Chinese learning engaging and practical by breaking down concepts into simple, relatable steps. My lessons emphasize conversational skills, grammar, and vocabulary, tailored to the student's needs. Each session lasts about 1 hour, striking a balance between focus and enjoyment. At 16, I bring years of personal language learning experience, along with awards in Chinese from my school, which reflect my dedication and expertise. My tutoring is ideal for students aged 8-13, whether they’re beginners or looking to improve their skills for school or personal growth.
