About Chloe
I hold a Master’s degree in French Language and Literature and have dedicated the past nine years to teaching French to students from various backgrounds and proficiency levels. My passion for the French language and culture inspires me to create lessons that are both effective and enjoyable. Through my academic training and extensive teaching experience, I have developed a deep understanding of language acquisition and pedagogy. Over the years, I have worked with learners ranging from beginners to advanced speakers preparing for exams, travel, or professional opportunities. I believe in customizing my teaching methods to fit each student’s unique needs and goals, ensuring a personalized learning journey that fosters confidence and progress. My lessons focus on developing grammar skills, conversational fluency, and cultural awareness. My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes. I emphasize the importance of integrating language skills with cultural context to make learning more meaningful and engaging. This approach helps students build a strong foundation while enjoying the process. Beyond teaching, I remain actively involved in the French-speaking world through reading, travel, and cultural events. This ongoing engagement enriches my lessons with authentic materials and current language trends, allowing me to inspire students with fresh perspectives and a genuine appreciation for the language.

My French lessons are designed to provide a comprehensive and immersive learning experience tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. Whether you’re starting from scratch or aiming to polish your fluency, I customize lessons to ensure steady progress while keeping the learning process engaging and enjoyable. I focus on creating a balanced approach that includes speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Grammar forms a foundational part of my teaching, helping students build confidence in constructing sentences correctly and understanding the language’s structure. I break down complex rules into simple, digestible segments and use practical exercises that reinforce learning. This approach helps students feel more comfortable using French in real-life situations.
Conversational practice is a core element of my lessons, designed to improve fluency and ease in everyday communication. Through interactive dialogues, role-playing, and listening activities, students develop the ability to express themselves naturally and understand native speakers with greater clarity.
I also incorporate cultural insights to enrich the learning experience, introducing students to French customs, traditions, and contemporary life. This cultural connection deepens engagement and provides context that makes the language more meaningful and memorable. My goal is to help students not only learn French but also appreciate its cultural richness.
