About Kristina

I am an Educator with a Master's Degree in Education. I am K-6 Certified in Florida and California. I received my Teaching certification and Master's Degree in 2000. Education is my passion and helping students succeed is my mission! Building relationships is also very important to me.

About the lesson

I see myself as a Facilitator for learning. I like to demonstrate concepts and facilitate learning with activities that promote self-learning, when possible. I think that experience is our best teacher. When students experience self-learning, it is extremely powerful. However, there are many mathematical concepts that need to be demonstrated to be understood. Different methods are useful at different times. I facilitate learning by adapting to my students and the material to be learned.
