About Vincent
Hey! Nice to meet you, I'm Vincent and teaching is a passion of mine. I first tutored GCSE Maths when I was myself an A-level student and I loved the impact that my role had. I had obtained A*A*A*A in my A-levels in Economics, Sociology, Chinese and Maths.
I studied Philosophy and Politics at the University of Edinburgh. In my time there, I also tutored first-year university Politics students, taught English online and held regular debating workshops in my role as President of the university debating team.
I have 3.5 years of experience at a Big-4 firm where I passed all my Chartered Accountancy exams. I am now an in-house analyst at a major CRE company. In my free time I am also pursuing a MA in Screenwriting.

My top priority as a tutor is to ensure that students are in a friendly and comfortable environment that in conducive for learning and problem-solving. I would describe myself as a relaxed but professional tutor who encourages students to develop their critical thinking skills.
In my lessons, I welcome students to ask questions and pose their own challenges. I take on a flexible approach blending theory and practice. Generally, Accounting classes will be more practice based as I believe that this is the best way to master accounting fundamentals. Of course, the specific tutoring approach will be tailored to the students' needs and areas of development.
