About Elise
I’m a passionate guitar teacher with over 11 years of experience helping students grow as confident and expressive musicians. I hold a Diploma of Music with a specialization in Guitar, and my lessons are designed to bring out each student’s unique sound and style. I’ve coached students for live performances, recording sessions, auditions, and music school entry, guiding them to perform with confidence and precision. My teaching focuses on more than just technique — I help students develop stage presence, creative freedom, and true musical expression. In my sessions, I create an encouraging space where students can explore different genres, experiment with tone, and build their own musical identity. I combine structured learning with creative improvisation, ensuring every guitarist finds their balance between discipline and inspiration. Whether preparing for a big stage, a studio session, or personal mastery, I’m dedicated to helping each student reach their highest potential and love every moment of playing guitar.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students truly understand the language of music through the guitar. I guide learners from basic chords to expressive playing that tells a story. Each lesson connects technique with creativity so students learn not just how to play, but why each sound matters.
I emphasize musical storytelling, teaching how dynamics, contrast, and phrasing create emotion and depth. Students explore the art of tension and release, learning to shape their sound and build powerful moments in their performances. Theme development is a key part of my sessions, helping players craft unique musical ideas that grow into complete pieces.
I cover a range of styles including rock, blues, worship, pop, and jazz, encouraging students to find their personal tone. Those aiming to perform on stage or in a band receive focused guidance on stage presence, improvisation, and emotional connection with the audience.
I use structured lessons that mix theory, technique, and creativity in a supportive, motivating way. Whether a student dreams of playing soulful melodies or high-energy solos, I help them gain both confidence and control. My goal is to inspire passion, discipline, and joy in every guitarist I teach.
