About Katelyn
I am a student-athlete at Texas A&M University who scored a 34 on both the English and Reading section of the ACT. I am a passionate creative writer, blogger, and songwriter on the side and am majoring in Business Marketing in the acclaimed Mays Business School. I have taught a multitude of subjects and lessons in various backgrounds for years and can clarify complicated subjects so that you can have the maximum learning experience in school!

My teaching methodology is to break complicated topics down in metaphors and understandable terms, then to build off of that to bring the student's understanding to a more advanced level. I think being patient and explaining things in several different ways until the student understands is very important because everyone has "light-bulb" moments, it just takes various ways to get there! I am very relational and enthusiastic about these subjects, and can't wait to speak about them with students!
