About Tan
Hi, I’m Hong Zhan! I am a university undergraduate with a strong passion for continuous learning and helping others succeed.
Throughout my university journey, I have taken on various leadership roles, including serving as a student club president and directing large-scale community events and campaigns. Managing these major projects has taught me how to communicate clearly, stay highly organized, and adapt to different personalities and qualities that translate directly into my tutoring. I know how to take big, overwhelming concepts and break them down into clear, manageable steps. UNDERSTANDING is the key to learn a topic!

My teaching methodology centers on active learning. Instead of just lecturing, I break down complex concepts into simple, step-by-step frameworks and use practical examples to ensure you truly understand the material. I tailor my pace to your unique learning style. A typical lesson lasts 60 to 90 minutes—the perfect balance for reviewing theory and practicing problem-solving without burning out. As a current university undergraduate with a strong background in project leadership and peer coordination, I know how to organize information clearly and keep sessions engaging. My classes are ideal for high school students and fellow university peers who want to build a rock-solid foundation and boost their confidence...
