About Karin
Hi! I am Karin. I am currently a 5th year medical student at the University of Stellenbosch.
I am especially passionate about English and matriculated in the top 1% (IEB) for English as Home Language.
I have a lot of tutoring experience, both privately and through university channels, and served as head tutor for my residence at Stellenbosch University in 2019.
I am skilled at creative writing and came 4th in the country through the SA Writer's College Essay Competition last year. I also have good insight and am well-read in poetry.
I pay careful attention to how English papers are marked and am able to give good advice as to how to structure essays for maximal marks
