About Anya
Hi! I’m Anya, an Education student who genuinely enjoys working with children and helping them reach their potential. I have experience as a Grade R/RR teacher, aftercare teacher and au pair, which has given me valuable experience working with learners of different ages and needs.
I’m interested in teaching because I enjoy seeing that “aha!” moment when a learner finally understands something they were struggling with. I believe learning should be supportive, encouraging and enjoyable.
I’m a patient, responsible and friendly tutor, and I take every lesson seriously. My goal is to help learners improve their skills while also building their confidence in themselves.

I offer friendly, patient and supportive English and Afrikaans lessons for Grade 4–7 learners. As an Education student with experience working with children, I understand that every learner learns differently.
My lessons focus on explaining work clearly, using simple examples, practising together and building confidence. I encourage learners to ask questions and work at a comfortable pace without feeling pressured.
I can teach in both English and Afrikaans, depending on the learner’s needs. Lessons are aimed at primary-school learners who need extra support, practice, or help understanding their schoolwork.
My goal is to make learning feel comfortable, encouraging and enjoyable while helping each learner make real progress.
