Teaching Methodology and Techniques:

As a tutor, I focus on full immersion to teach English, which means lessons are conducted entirely in English to help students naturally develop their language skills. My approach is centered around interactive and engaging activities, such as storytelling, role-playing, and educational games, to make learning fun and effective. I believe in the importance of patience and empathy, ensuring that each student feels comfortable and supported as they learn at their own pace.

A Typical Lesson Plan:

A typical lesson begins with a warm-up activity, such as a simple conversation or a fun game, to engage the student in English. We then move on to the main lesson, which could involve reading a short story, learning new vocabulary, or practicing sentence structures through interactive exercises. I ensure that each concept is thoroughly explained and understood before moving on. The lesson concludes with a review session, where we reinforce what was learned, and I provide feedback to the student.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with younger students and create a learning environment that is both fun and educational. My background in retail has taught me the importance of clear communication and patience, skills that I bring into every tutoring session. I’m also very adaptable, tailoring each lesson to the student’s unique needs and learning style, ensuring they get the right answers and fully understand the material.

Who the Lessons Are For:

My lessons are primarily designed for younger children, from PreK to grade 6, who are either beginning to learn English or need help with their general homework. I focus on creating a strong foundation in the English language and assisting with other subjects as needed. Whether a student needs help with reading, writing, or general comprehension, I provide personalized support to help them succeed.
