About Shannon
Hello! My name is Shannon, and I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Technology. I enjoy helping people gain confidence with technology and develop practical computer skills they can use every day.
I offer personalized computer tutoring for students of all ages and experience levels. Whether you're setting up a new laptop or desktop computer, learning basic computer skills, using Microsoft Office, managing email, browsing the internet, or improving your understanding of technology, I'm here to help.
I also specialize in helping new computer users configure devices, connect to home networks, install software, and learn essential cybersecurity practices. I can guide students through creating secure passwords, protecting personal information online, recognizing scams, and using technology safely and confidently.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each individual's needs. I break down technical concepts into clear, easy-to-follow steps and encourage questions throughout the learning process. Whether you're a young student, an adult learner, or someone simply looking to become more comfortable with technology, I will work at your pace and focus on your goals.
My goal is to make technology less intimidating and help every student become a confident, independent, and secure computer user. I am committed to providing professional, reliable instruction in a friendly and encouraging learning environment.

I believe everyone can learn technology with the right guidance and a patient approach. My lessons are tailored to each student's experience level and goals, whether they are completely new to computers or looking to improve their digital skills. I explain concepts in simple, easy-to-understand language and provide plenty of hands-on practice to build confidence.
I can help students learn essential computer skills, including using Windows and Mac computers, navigating the internet safely, managing email, creating documents, using Microsoft Office applications, organizing files, and troubleshooting common technical issues. I focus on practical, real-world tasks that students can apply immediately in their daily lives.
What sets me apart is my supportive, step-by-step teaching style. I create a comfortable learning environment where questions are always encouraged, and I make sure each student progresses at a pace that works for them. My goal is not only to teach computer skills but also to help students become confident and independent technology users.
