About Choi
Hi, I’m Seoyoon, a 21-year-old Korean native currently living in London while studying English.
Being a language learner myself, I truly understand how challenging and sometimes overwhelming it can be to learn a new language. That experience makes me a more empathetic and patient teacher — I know exactly what it feels like to start from scratch!
Back in Korea, I studied Chemistry at university and worked as a teaching assistant at a maths academy, where I gained experience guiding students of different levels. I’ve also worked as an au pair in London, caring for and supporting children in an English-speaking environment.
I’m warm, encouraging and genuinely passionate about helping others grow. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your Korean to the next level, I’d love to be part of your learning journey!

I offer high-quality lessons focusing on Standard Korean (Seoul dialect) with clear, neutral pronunciation. My goal is to help you build a solid foundation in the most natural and accurate way of speaking — free from regional accents and full of confidence.
As a native speaker, I provide patient and personalised guidance tailored to your level. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your speaking skills, we’ll work at a comfortable pace together. Depending on your goals, I can cover conversation practice, vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking — or any combination that works best for you! I focus on practical expressions and correct intonation so you can communicate naturally in any situation!
