About Melisa
"Self-taught through 13 years of gigging Melbourne open-mic scenes, my foundation remains firmly rooted in 10 years of stage work. I focus on microphone technique and vocal health to keep your voice strong while teaching belting and control between head and chest registers. Breathing and vibrato control are essential skills we build together here.
Whether you need help with exam preparation or genre styling across pop and musical theater, I help you find your unique performance confidence. My work is neurodivergent-affirming, so we focus on clear rhythm and phrasing to ensure you reach your personal vocal goals."

"You arrive at the studio and we immediately record a performance to hear exactly where your voice sits today. We spend 60 minutes alternating between your specific song choices and classic tracks that highlight your range.
My background as a self-taught performer means we focus on the practical realities of singing while addressing your specific vocal needs. We review performance recordings together each month to track your genuine progress in real time. Having played 13 years in busy venues, I share how to maintain vocal stamina under pressure. You will find that making music together is a genuinely rewarding and direct process."
