About Linford
I have been playing the guitar for 20 years. I play a range of styles: Folk, Blues, Rock, Pop, Metal, Punk, Reggae, R&B, Soul, Funk, Indie. I play both Electric and Acoustic. I have been teaching guitar on and off for years, and I have taught both beginners and more advanced students. I am definitely a 'feel' guitar player, so these lessons will be about learning your way around the guitar, and all the little tips and tricks that go along with it! There's no perfect way to play music! So we will be working on playing the music that's right for you! :)

I like to design the lesson to what you want: what songs you want to play, what styles you want to learn. You don't need to read music to play music, so we will be learning from chord charts and tablature. I will provide materials, or you can bring your own for us to work on! The main thing is, this will be a relaxed and supportive environment in which to play! No stress, and we'll change it up and work on something else if your fingers are hurting! :)
At the moment I am only teaching lessons on weekdays from 4 to 6.

Perfect! Very professional and patient.
Excellent tutor! Highly recommendedPerfect! The lessons are tailored to songs I am interested in learning & are paced at a level that suits the student. Linford keeps the lessons interesting by including different styles of playing. You can tell he is a very experienced musician & tutor and I would definitely recommend him for anyone considering taking guitar lessons.

We find Linford extremely professional. Lily has come on leaps and bounds and people are amazed how quickly she has learned guitar. Linford is the perfect tutor.
