About Gonzalo

Hi! My name is Gonzalo Mendizabal, and I´m a 19-year-old Chemical Engineering Student. I was born in Lima, the capital of Perú, where I lived for 18 years until I was accepted to follow a degree at The University of Manchester. Coming by myself to the UK was not an issue as I have been learning English in school since I was 10, also got a bilingual International Baccalaureate degree which now allows me to be fluent in the language. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing ideas, and teaching not only my native language but also all the culture that lies behind it.

About the lesson

I have two ways of approaching my lessons with the students.
The first is aimed at beginners without any experience in the language or ones who want to recap the basis of it, they combine the basics of pronunciation, grammar, and sentence building with day-to-day phrases so you are able to start talking in Spanish since the first lesson.
The second is aimed at Spanish users (any level) that want to improve in a certain aspect of the language, like native pronunciation, work-environment Spanish, idioms, and slang, or improve conversational skills to become more fluent.
All my lessons are personalized, both (the material used and the structure of them) to fulfill the student's objective and provide comfort during them.
