About Tanaka

I am a 4th year Pharmacy student, who is theatrical, friendly and accommodating. I thoroughly enjoy learning and I am passionate about helping students to reach their full potential. I study at the University of Lincoln, which has been integral to my educational growth.

About the lesson

After having achieved 8s and 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in my GCSEs and AAB in my A levels, I am incredibly aware of the importance of tailoring lessons towards different learning styles. This allows students to reach their full potential.

I was tutored by Tanaka for almost a year and I’m so grateful I found her. I went from scraping 5s in foundation maths to a strong 8 in the final exam all thanks to her patience, attention to detail and hard work. I wouldn’t have been able to do my choices for A- levels otherwise. I can tell she truly cares about helping her students. Hire her I’m telling you!!

My child was really struggling with Mathematics a year before their GCSES barely hitting grade 3s and 4s and was certain he was going to sit a foundation paper. Luckily I found Tanaka who helped my child so much with their overall confidence and ability which allowed my child to improve drastically, sitting the higher tier paper and achieving a grade 7! I can’t recommend Tanaka enough, she’s very supportive, flexible and lovely. If you need a tutor then she’s definitely your girl!
