About Myrna
I received my bachelor's degree in Biology in May 2015. I then entered graduate school in August of that same year and achieved my PhD last month. I have been either working in a biology lab or taking classes for the last 8 years so I am very familiar with the content as well as my teaching capabilities.

I have tutored many people over the last few years, ranging from fellow PhD students to undergraduates and even high school students. I first ask what is the best way for the student to learn (e.g. using visuals, auditory learning, ect.) and I go from there. I will engage the students and ask them questions as well as go through practice problems to ensure that they fully understand. I believe tutoring should be tailored to each student for them to obtain the best results.
