About Mirko
I am a committed and approachable tutor with a strong academic background in Education, currently completing a PhD focused on teaching and learning processes. My experience includes working with both secondary school and university students, which allows me to adapt my teaching to different levels and academic demands.
I understand that learning can sometimes feel challenging or overwhelming, especially when preparing for exams or working on complex topics. For this reason, I focus on creating a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence.
My lessons are clear, well-organized, and adapted to each student’s needs. I aim to explain concepts in a simple and accessible way, while also helping students develop critical thinking and independent study skills. Whether the goal is to improve grades, prepare for exams, or strengthen understanding, I work step by step with each student to achieve meaningful progress.
Students can expect professionalism, reliability, and a genuine commitment to their learning. My goal is not only to help you succeed academically, but also to support you in becoming a more confident and independent learner.

Teaching approach and methodology
My tutoring approach is grounded in a student-centered and reflective pedagogy, where learning is understood as an active and meaningful process. I prioritize creating a supportive environment that encourages dialogue, critical thinking, and autonomy.
My methodology combines:
Clear conceptual explanations adapted to the student’s level
Guided practice with continuous feedback
Use of real-world examples to contextualize learning
Progressive scaffolding to build confidence and independence
I also integrate reflective questioning techniques to help students understand not only what they learn, but how and why they learn it.
Typical length of a lesson
A standard lesson lasts 60 minutes, although sessions can be adapted (45–90 minutes) depending on the student’s needs, objectives, and level of concentration. Longer sessions may be recommended for advanced learners or exam preparation.
Qualifications and experience
I am currently a PhD candidate in Education, specializing in teacher education and pedagogical practices. My academic background is in Physical Education and Education Sciences, and I have extensive experience in:
University-level teaching
Research in education and pedagogy
Supporting students in academic writing and critical analysis
Additionally, I have international academic experience, which allows me to work effectively in both Spanish and English contexts.
Who the lessons are for
My lessons are designed for:
University students (undergraduate and postgraduate)
Teacher education students (especially in Physical Education)
Professionals seeking to improve their academic or pedagogical skills
Secondary school students requiring structured academic support
I adapt each session to the learner’s level, whether they need foundational support, exam preparation, or advanced academic development.
