I have a Bachelor's degree and Teaching Certificate from the University of California, San Diego. I have a Master's degree in Linguistics from the University of Florida, also in the USA. I speak with a Hollywood accent, as I was born in Los Angeles. My PhD is in linguistics from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil. I speak near-native Portuguese. My teaching career spans three continents and students from 92 countries.
