About Waqas
Hi, I’m Waqas, a dedicated Maths tutor and a graduate in Mathematics from Central South University, China. I’ve been tutoring since 2015, focusing on clear explanations, patient guidance, and helping students build confidence. I tailor each lesson to suit individual learning styles, ensuring every student can grasp complex concepts and excel in their studies.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with students at different levels and enjoy simplifying complex concepts into clear, easy-to-understand steps. I tailor my teaching to accommodate various learning styles and skill levels to ensure every student succeeds.
When I’m not teaching, I love exploring new interests, taking on fresh challenges, and constantly seeking opportunities to learn and grow. My curiosity drives me to discover new ideas and expand my horizons.
I have over 10 years of experience tutoring Mathematics, specializing in teaching kids, Elementary Math, IGCSE, GCSE Algebra (1,2), and Trigonometry. My teaching approach begins by understanding your current capabilities and then creating a personalized plan based on your skill level. After this, I set weekly goals and teach using a combination of past paper examples, active recall, and worked examples.
At the end of each lesson, we will evaluate your confidence in the material, set practice homework questions, and review your progress in the next lesson to ensure continuous improvement.
