About Mariangeles
Although my experience teaching has been for over 20 years in different schools and universities, since my arrival in the United Kingdom (May 2019) I have been teaching Spanish in language schools in Oxford (Cactus, Berlitz and in my own language company: ELV). I am currently responsible of different groups and one-to-one adult and young adult students, who are learning Spanish.
On the last months, due to the lockdown, I have delivered more than 300 hours on-line teaching using Zoom mainly.
My clients have been mainly adults and young adults but during the quarantine I have taugth Spanish to several groups of children (aged 7 to 9).

My lesson are interactive; Some explanation on grammar are usually necessary for language lesson however it is easier to obtain better results while engaging in conversation, current topics or discussions. I use media material, on-line ELE (Spanish as a Second Language by Instituto Cervantes) platforms and audiobooks. I also create my own material some of wich is published on my facebook page ((concealed information) or on my linkedin articles.
As a tutor I am creative and adaptable to the students learning needs.
I teach from basic to professional and academic Spanish. If the student would like to learn about Spanish History I could also teach in English.

I would offer different discount for couples or groups (4-6 people upon their level).
To obtain discounts for "packs of lessons" the pack has to be paid before the first lesson.
If you wished to have Spanish lessons for specific exams, professional sectors (such doctors, Spanish teachers etc...) I could tailor made a learning proposal.
