About Sheng

As a quantitative researcher, I have extensive experience in mathematical modelling and statistical analysis. I have tutored for more than 2000 hours+. My students range from high school sophomores to college juniors. I have taught the following subjects for at least one semester. High School Level: AP Calculus, AP Computer Science A, AP Physics. College level: Multivariate Calculus, Linear Algebra, Applied Econometrics, Data Science with R/SQL/Python, Algorithms with Java, Probability and Statistics.

About the lesson

For high school students, the most important thing is to locate the most useful information. For college students, the most important thing is know how to do research. For both, I would focus on using use common sense and daily life examples to understand the problem and breaking complex concepts into understandable components.
