About KHUSHI
Looking for a tutor who not only knows science but lives and breathes it? I’m Khushi Mudgal, a PhD scholar at King’s College London with a Master’s in Forensic Science and Bachelor's in Zoology, Botany and Chemistry as my subjects. My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of science and a hands-on approach that I’m eager to share with you. My approach to tutoring is centred around making complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging for students. I believe in fostering a strong foundational understanding by breaking down difficult topics into manageable parts and relating them to real-world applications. My Teaching Methodology includes: -Interactive Learning -Tailored Approach -Real-World Applications -Regular Assessments -Problem-Solving. Lesson Structure -Duration: Lessons are typically 1-1.5 hours, depending on the student’s preference and attention span. For younger or less advanced students, I may recommend shorter sessions to maintain focus and engagement. -Content Focus: Each session begins with a quick review of previous material and any assignments. The main focus of the lesson then delves into new concepts, followed by a recap and clarification of key points at the end. Qualifications and Experience -PhD in Cancer and Pharmaceutical Research (King’s College London) – I am currently pursuing a PhD in a scientific field, bringing cutting-edge knowledge and research methods to my tutoring. -MSc in Forensic Science with Specialisation in Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology – With hands-on lab experience, I can provide a detailed understanding of scientific principles that extend beyond textbooks. -Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Botany and Zoology -Lab Assistant Experience – I have practical experience in laboratory techniques, analytical methods, and data interpretation, which I use to help students understand the importance of practical science. Levels: I teach students at GCSE and A-Level levels, particularly those interested in science subjects such as chemistry, biology, physics, and forensic science. I can tutor both school and university students. My goal is to help each student achieve their academic goals with confidence, whether they are tackling exams or looking to deepen their passion for science.
