About Cheyenne
I am a PhD student at Emory University, with an academic background in English literature, education, and African American Studies, and a professional background in student advising and mentorship. I have worked as a writing tutor since 2019 and I've taught/tutored primary, secondary, and college students. Working with students is my life's work!

My lessons are for high school and college students. My teaching pedagogy is student-centered, meaning I start all of my sessions discussing the students' goals, concerns, and questions. Because of my diverse background working with students at top universities, children in foster care, people dealing with homelessness, as well as every level (primary, secondary, and postsecondary), I am great at supporting students from various backgrounds and at differing skill levels.
