About Luke Felix
Hi! My name is Felix, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Musicology in Berlin. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Composition, a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance, and a Master’s degree in Music and Theater Studies... which is essentially a long-winded way of saying that I have a serious addiction to dusty books and listening to music at volumes that probably aren’t recommended.
When I’m not being brutally bullied by my cat (an essential part of professional musical training), I love teaching! I have experience working with students of all ages and with a wide range of needs. I recently decided to expand my teaching online alongside my in-person lessons because my students are on holiday, and I get bored if I’m not teaching. I also have bills to pay, but that’s secondary. Pinky promise.

Please note! Lessons will be tailored to each student’s individual needs. The options below are examples of the kinds of requests my students have typically had in the past
TOPICS: Music history is enormous! If you’re desperately preparing for an exam and have a specific topic in mind (e.g. a particular composer), that’s absolutely not a problem: just let me know at least one day in advance, and I’ll prepare some material for you to keep after the lesson and make studying easier.
SUPPORTING MATERIALS: Every lesson will come with digital study materials provided free of charge (they are, of course, included in the lesson price).
LANGUAGE: Lessons can be taught either in Italian or English, depending on the student’s individual preference.
