About Victor
I'm currently a PhD student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where I study motion planning methods for robotics. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where I also went on to earn my Master's in Computer Science. On top of having worked as a teaching assistant in Computer Science for almost 5 years, I have been tutoring students for 15 years in subjects ranging from Middle School Algebra all the way up to Calculus, Number Theory, and Physics. I also have mentored high schoolers to help them publish their own papers on Machine Learning. Teaching is my passion, and my goal for after I graduate is to return to UNC Chapel Hill and become a professor.

I take the time to meet you where you're at, figure out what's confusing you, then gradually help you guide yourself to the correct answer in a way that will stick. I focus on building true understanding and helping my students build confidence and intuition by going through problems in a way that gets you to the answer in a way that makes sense to you.
