About Alex
I am a dedicated lecturer and PhD researcher in Sport and Exercise Science, driven by a passion for bridging the gap between academic research and practical application. Alongside my teaching, I run a sports injury clinic where I combine evidence-based practice with hands-on experience. This dual role not only enriches my teaching with real-world insight but also ensures my patients receive the highest standard of care.

In my sports science modules, I foster an engaging learning environment by combining theory with practical examples, tailoring the content to sports and activities that align with my students’ interests.
Each lesson includes interactive discussions, case studies, and video analysis to bring the concepts to life and enhance understanding.
I work with students from GCSE to university level, guiding them towards a deeper, more meaningful grasp of sports science principles.
