About Sarah
I am a PhD student specializing in molecular, cellular, and integrative physiology. I have 8 years of tutoring experience over a wide range of ages and subjects and love to help students understand the concepts they are learning. My students often say that I make difficult concepts easy to understand by getting to the root of what is challenging them, and explaining it in simpler terms. This method is extremely beneficial for students because when they understand what they are learning, they are empowered to continue learning.

Classes are tailored to exactly what you need to succeed. I have been a tutor for 6 years and a Teaching Assistant for 1 year and I can adapt my lesson plans to suit your needs. I specialize in high school science, biology, and chemistry but I also have experience teaching elementary school math and science as well as university kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology. Physiology is my favorite :)

Perfect! Fantastic tutor.
Perfect! Sarah took the time to carefully review all relevant materials to ensure a clear understanding of the concepts being addressed. She thoughtfully discussed a variety of strategies and options to help maximize learning and engagement during the session. In addition to reviewing the required content, Sarah provided alternative resources and materials designed to reinforce key ideas and support deeper understanding. Her approach was patient, supportive, and focused on helping the student build confidence while strengthening their grasp of the concepts being studied.
Excellent! Friendly, very knowledgable, good at explaining things, open to questions and eager to help. Great experience overall.
Perfect! Sarah responds quickly and makes you feel comfortable from the start. She communicates clearly and has such a positive demeanour. Would definitely use her again!
