About Taylor

I have a PhD and a strong background in mathematics and science, with years of experience in analytical thinking, problem solving, and teaching complex concepts in a clear and structured way. I also have experience tutoring students in Calculus and Physics, including AP-level courses.
My approach focuses on clarity and logic. Many students struggle not because the material is too difficult, but because it is not explained clearly. I specialize in breaking down complicated problems into simple, understandable steps, helping students build confidence and independence.
I am patient, detail-oriented, and results-driven. I work well with students who want to improve their grades, prepare for exams, or develop a deeper understanding of the subject.
I can teach in both English and Chinese, and I adapt my explanation style to match each student’s needs and learning pace.

About the lesson

I offer personalized tutoring in Calculus and Physics for high school and university students, including AP, IB, and first-year university level. My teaching focuses on building deep understanding rather than memorization. I guide students step by step through problem-solving, helping them see the logic behind each concept.
A typical lesson includes reviewing key concepts, working through carefully selected problems, and practicing exam-style questions to improve both speed and accuracy. I adapt each session to the student’s level and goals, whether it is improving grades, preparing for exams, or building long-term confidence.
What sets me apart is my strong academic background and ability to explain complex ideas in a clear and structured way. As a PhD-level tutor, I emphasize clarity, logical thinking, and efficient problem-solving strategies.
I teach in both English and Chinese if needed, and I aim to make every lesson focused, engaging, and results-driven.
