About Kipp
I have a PhD in Religious Studies, have taught courses in Religion in both North America and Europe, have supervised MA theses and examined PhD dissertations. I have published extensively in academic journals and books, and have successfully published a handful of popular-level essays and opinion pieces. I continue to promote good scholarship through my own profile as a public-facing academic, and am still teaching my own courses in Religion online. The skills and knowledge I have developed are very helpful for anyone interested in strengthening their own writing.

My approach is predominantly rhetorical and socratic. I find it best to know my student's output before hand, and to taylor questions for thoughtful discussion from what they have read and/or written.
As a thoughtful and careful reader and examiner, I can assure students that I will provide considerable support for tightening their own thinking and arguments in essays, term-papers and theses.
