About Jackson
I am currently finishing my Master's Thesis in Philosophy at Colorado State, and got my undergraduate degree at the University of Wyoming, majoring in Philosophy and minoring in Computer Science. I taught Logic and Critical Thinking for one year independently at CSU, and have taught ethics in the prison systems over the summer.

I favor a roughly Socratic model of teaching, encouraging students to arrive at their own answers, while giving them guidance on how to best reach those answers. I provide students with a number of assistive devices to help them understand a given concept, then slowly remove those devices over time, leading to students applying the concepts on their own. I am happy to adapt to a student's specific learning style, and enjoy it when a student is willing to clearly communicate their needs to me.
