About Annabel
I am a Philosophy and Economics undergraduate at the University of Bristol, and I studied Philosophy at A Level myself. This means I understand what it is like to learn the subject, prepare for the exams and deal with the challenges that come with it.
I want to tutor Philosophy because I really enjoy the subject and want to help other students understand it better and feel more confident in their exams. Having recently completed my A Levels, I have a good understanding of what the exams are like, what examiners are looking for and the techniques that helped me achieve strong results.
I want to make lessons friendly, relaxed and easy to understand, while still helping students make real progress and improve their grades.

My lessons are personalised to each student and what they need help with. I will set personalised homework to help them improve and make sure they understand the content, not just memorise it.
I will explain difficult topics in a clear and simple way, while also focusing on exam technique and how to structure answers to gain more marks.
We will practise exam questions, develop strong arguments and evaluation, and work on any areas the student is struggling with. I aim to make Philosophy easier to understand and less overwhelming, while helping students feel more confident going into their exams.
