I'm relaxed, human, and on a mission to make math and science more intuitive and less intimidating.
As a physicist, I'm excellent at relating math to the real world and fostering intuitive, conceptual understanding.
I ask questions that help me understand what YOU understand, and from there develop approaches that work for you.
As a teacher, I relate to humans. I've worked with middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults. I've found many different ways to explain and teach that I can tailor to the person I'm working with.

Math and science can make sense! I've been tutoring math and science and teaching in and out of the classroom for over 6 years.
I believe in communicating concepts in a simple, easy to understand way. Different people think and learn differently, and finding the ways that make sense to YOU is my aim.
My approach is to focus on breaking down problems into simple, manageable parts and teach problem-solving skills that ultimately will serve you well anywhere.
Whether it's visual, symbolic, or relating it to the physical world around you, a conceptual understanding goes so much further than trying to memorize what formula to use when.
