About Ashish
I am pursuing a Ph.D. in physics specializing in ultrafast laser material interaction, photonics, at the University of Ottawa. I have completed my master’s and bachelor's both in the discipline of physics. I am working as a teaching assistant and a graduate research assistant at the University of Ottawa. As a part of my Ph.D. research, I have contributed to the publication of seven research articles, two of which have been featured in the esteemed Nature Photonics and Communication Journal. (See ResearchGate or Google Scholar) Experience: Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA) at the University of Ottawa: 4.5 Years * 4th Year: Solid State Physics, Mathematical Physics, Computational Physics * 3rd Year: Electrodynamics. * 2nd year & 1st year physics courses.

My teaching method is to explain the concept thoroughly and relate the abstract principles with relatable examples. As said, physics becomes very easy if you can visualize the principles and fundamental laws. Math or physics, if basics are sound/strong, any problem can be tackled. Also, I base my approach with every student on the fact that every student has a unique pace of learning the concepts and I am willing to put in time and effort, even if it exceeds tuition hour (paid time).
