About Wassim
Physics can be a daunting subject for many students. Over the years, I have encountered students who have expressed their dislike for the subject or have struggled to grasp its concepts. However, I have come to realize that most of these difficulties stem from a negative experience with a teacher or unrealistic expectations. My passion for Physics stems from a desire to comprehend the workings of the world around us. As a tutor, I strive to instill this same curiosity in my students and create a positive learning environment where questions are encouraged, and mistakes are viewed as opportunities for growth.

My methodology is a student-centered, conversationally-driven approach, in which I guide the student, giving them few questions or comments to nudge them or make them question.
I typically start by asking the student what material they're comfortable with and what parts they're not. I probe with a few questions that drive them to ask their own questions. I give short yet insightful explanations of the concepts, often through relatable analogies and examples, then have the student walk through similar examples. Finally, we cement the understanding through multiple rounds of practice, and I typically give the homework of an appropriate level to make sure the student goes through practice on their own, where the crutch that is the tutor is not present.
Typically, a second session of solving and reviewing the concepts locks in the student's understanding and sheds away all doubts.
My lessons are tailored for all levels and ages.
