About Diego
Dynamics and expression, pop and contemporary, memorization techniques, posture and hand position, and sight transposition are my bread and butter. Honestly, I spend half my time just trying to get students to sit comfortably at the bench.
I am a BM graduate who treats the piano like a second voice for every student. My Sondheim obsession means I am usually at the piano during lessons to show you how a piece should breathe. This is a two-way street where we make your musical ideas come to life. Let us get your playing ready for the stage.

"Musical fluidity arrives when you finally stop fighting the instrument during our weekly meetings. I am usually sitting right there at the piano during our sessions to demonstrate exactly how a phrase should sound. My training at Boston Conservatory taught me that technical clarity supports artistic expression in every genre. Since I have 13 years of experience, I provide a short recorded playback of each session so you can review at home.
