About Ruby
My piano teaching approach blends creativity with a strong technical foundation. I tailor each lesson to the student’s style, interests, and goals—whether they’re exploring classical music, composing original pieces, or diving into pop. Technique is key, so I focus on articulation, phrasing, and expressive dynamics to help students bring emotion into every note. For those interested in songwriting and modern styles, I include chord progressions, ear training, and improvisation. I also use digital tools like notation software and MIDI technology to enhance creativity and make learning more interactive. Students who love composing get structured guidance to develop their ideas into complete works. I help performance-minded learners build stage confidence by working on memory techniques and consistent practice habits. Sight-reading and rhythmic accuracy are gradually strengthened, along with proper hand positioning and tone control. My lessons are always supportive, helping students find their musical voice while staying grounded in skill-building.

I'm a passionate piano teacher with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Music, specializing in Jazz Piano. My teaching goes beyond classical traditions—I bring a fresh, modern approach tailored for today’s musicians. Whether you're into songwriting, music production, or hybrid genres, I help you explore and express your unique musical voice.
I integrate technology into every lesson, using MIDI tools, digital notation apps, and online recording platforms to make learning interactive and engaging. Students love creating their own compositions, tracking their progress, and experimenting with different sounds. From laying down tracks to arranging harmonies, I guide them step by step.
For those aiming to strengthen core skills, I emphasize sight-reading, keyboard technique, and musical theory. I design exercises that are fun yet effective, adapting to each student’s pace and goals. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate player looking to level up, you’ll find a clear path forward.
