About Lauren

With a background of extensive experience and passion for teaching, I have dedicated over 5 years to helping students master the piano. My journey began with a deep love for music, which evolved into a commitment to sharing my knowledge and skills with others. This extensive teaching experience allows me to offer personalized instruction in both classical and jazz piano, catering to students of all ages and skill levels.

My approach to teaching is rooted in a belief that learning the piano should be both enjoyable and educational. I focus on providing a balanced education that includes developing technical skills, understanding music theory, and fostering creative expression. Whether you're interested in the discipline of classical music or the improvisational freedom of jazz, I tailor my lessons to meet your specific interests and goals, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.

In addition to piano instruction, I also offer lessons on harpsichord, synthesizer, and keyboard, expanding the range of musical experiences available to students. This diverse approach enriches the overall learning process, allowing students to explore different sounds and styles while enhancing their overall musicianship. My goal is to provide a well-rounded education that not only builds technical proficiency but also encourages creative exploration.

Creating a positive and motivating learning environment is essential to my teaching philosophy. I believe that encouragement, personalized feedback, and a supportive atmosphere are crucial for building confidence and fostering a love for music. My aim is to inspire students to enjoy their musical journey, achieve their personal goals, and develop a lasting passion for the piano. Through dedicated and individualized instruction, I strive to make a meaningful impact on each student’s musical development.
