About ゆい

G’day! My name is Yui.

Have you ever thought…
“I want to learn Japanese, but I don’t know where to start.”
“Is Duolingo really enough for everyday life in Japan?”
“I want to communicate confidently at work, with my host family, or in daily life.”
“I want to order food, go shopping, and make Japanese friends.”
“I can’t stay motivated studying alone.”

If this sounds like you, my lessons are perfect for you!
My lessons focus on real Japanese for everyday life, not just textbook grammar. Together we’ll learn “Survival Japanese” for working holidays, including conversations for cafés, restaurants, shopping, share houses, public transport, and part-time jobs, so you can start your new life in Japan with confidence.

About Me
Hi! I’m Yui, a native Japanese speaker from Hyogo. I worked for four years at an aerospace trading company in Tokyo, and I’m currently enjoying my Working Holiday in Australia.
I also studied Danish for four years at university, so I understand how challenging it can be to learn a completely new language.
I know how exciting—and sometimes scary—it is to move to another country. That’s why my goal isn’t just to teach Japanese. I want to support you throughout your Working Holiday journey and help you enjoy life in Japan with confidence. English support is available for beginners.

Trial Lesson
In our first lesson, let’s talk about:
•Why you want to come to Japan Your • Working Holiday plans
• Your language goals
Anything you’re excited or worried about I’ll create lessons that match your goals and pace. I can’t wait to meet you!
