About Eric
I am a guitar tutor with 3 years of experience and a BA in Music Theory with Guitar Specialization. My lessons combine performance, music production, and home recording techniques. Students learn tone shaping, effects pedals, microphone placement, and basic mixing to create professional-quality guitar tracks. I have supported Early Intermediate, Advanced Intermediate, and Professional session musicians. My approach emphasizes holistic musicianship, blending technical skill, creative sound design, and artistic expression. Lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to each student’s goals. Students gain confidence both playing live and producing music. I integrate exercises in audio engineering and recording techniques. Learners develop precision, sonic awareness, and artistic identity. Each session encourages experimentation and musical growth. My goal is to help students refine their sound and capture their artistry. Join me to elevate your guitar skills and unlock your creative potential.

My teaching approach focuses on helping guitarists master rhythm and groove. Lessons include strumming patterns, picking dynamics, chord changes, and syncopation. Students build a strong foundation for playing in multiple genres. I provide consistent feedback to improve timing, feel, and expression. Exercises cover metronome practice, loops, and genre-specific grooves. Fingerstyle enthusiasts and worship leaders learn to enhance dynamics and pocket. Lessons emphasize practical application through songs, accompaniments, and ensemble work. Students gain confidence laying down steady, musical rhythm parts. My methodology combines technical skill with expressive musicality. Each session encourages repetition, attentive listening, and creativity. Learners strengthen timing, groove, and precision. By the end, students confidently execute rhythm parts with style and feel.
