About Gary
Tutoring is the very essence of being an editor, a position I've held at several Wisconsin daily newspapers.
I've molded dozens of young reporters into respected members of The Fourth Estate.
In addition, I designed the largest weekly newspaper in Wisconsin, a new publication, and presided over all editorial operations.

I am a professional writer and former newspaper editor. I also served as director of communications in the corporate arena.
I teach writing and related skills: English, grammar, proofreading, editing, and vocabulary.
My clients include high school, college, and graduate students; people who wish to improve their dexterity with the written word.
We learn to write by rewriting, under the watchful eye of a patient, competent mentor.
I will teach you to write sentences that burn with energy and build to a crescendo. I'll help you put some melody in your writing.
