About Nathan

Hi, I’m Nathan, a keen pool player based in Northwood and a three-time tournament winner. I love the combination of skill, strategy and concentration that makes pool such a rewarding game.

Having experienced both tournament wins and difficult matches, I appreciate how much consistency, patience and confidence matter at the table.

I want to share what I’ve learnt with beginners and improving players, helping you understand the game, develop good habits and enjoy seeing your progress. You can expect a friendly, encouraging approach, with clear explanations and space to ask questions.

About the lesson

My pool lessons are practical, friendly and tailored to your ability and goals. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your consistency, we’ll work on your stance, grip, cue action, aiming, potting and cue ball control.

Each session starts with understanding your game, followed by focused exercises and match situations. I’ll also cover positional play, safety shots and choosing the right shot, helping you think ahead and make better decisions at the table.

Drawing on my experience as a tournament winner, I’ll share how I approach competitive play and handle pressure. My aim is to help you build solid technique, develop confidence and enjoy your pool.
