About Javeria
I am Javeria Butt, an MSc Big Data Analytics student at Birmingham City University with a background in operational research, data analysis, administration and reporting. I enjoy teaching because I know many students struggle when maths, statistics or software tools are explained too quickly. I like breaking topics into simple steps, using real examples, and helping students build confidence with algebra, statistics, SPSS, Excel, R, Python, LaTeX and data analytics.

My lessons are calm, practical and step by step. I first check what the student already understands, then I explain the topic with simple examples before moving into exam style or coursework style questions. I can support maths, algebra and statistics including descriptive statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, charts, SPSS, Excel, R, SQL, and Python. My aim is to help students understand the method, not just copy an answer, so they can solve similar queries independently with more confidence.
