About Jo
I have a previous BSc in Molecular Biology of first class honours, and have moved to Warwick University to do a MSc in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing and Business management.
I tutored throughout my A levels, to many GCSE students, and have taught A level related content throughout my time at University.
I have a friendly approach, and am willing to try many different methods to help you understand - I know what its like to not get a topic first time!

I am better to give lessons one-on-one or to a small group, I find it's much easier this way to really understand a topic. I think that many topics within Biology, Chemistry and Maths are difficult, and I'm willing to work out different ways to teach them, based on different learning styles.
I have a BSc Hons (First Class) in Molecular Biology, but can teach any age, from Primary all the way through! I have taught year 6 children about the anatomy of the heart, all the way though to students needing a little bit of support during the weeks before both GCSE and A level exams! Because I am still in education myself, I know the most up to date knowledge on the subject areas.

Jo is not only an amazing friend of mine but also a fantastic tutor! During my GCSE exams I massively struggled with Maths and after many sessions with Jo I managed to reach my goals and gained so much more confidence; this grade meant I was able to be where I am today at University! Jo is extremely friendly and always created a comfortable atmosphere when I was really struggling with my work, making sure we took as long as I needed on particular questions or topics. Her friendly but professional style of tutoring meant my motivation levels were kept high and I wasn't afraid to ask questions and go back over certain things with her. I can't recommend Jo enough and so if you want someone dedicated to getting you where you want to be then Jo is ideal!
