The main objective of my teaching is to find effective teaching methodologies and techniques for tutoring mathematics and science to middle and high school students, fostering engagement and understanding.
Some of my key teaching strategies include active learning, where I encourage my students to find ways to learn through hands-on activities. I also use multimedia, such as educational games and videos, to help include different forms of knowledge and cater to various learning styles. Finally, I believe in connecting the concepts back to the real world and, therefore, using real-world examples to help students understand how they relate to everyday life.
I mainly teach from middle school to high school, but I can be open to other levels of learning!

Simran is a great tutor. She helped my son with grade 12 math and took him from a B student to an A- student. She is super helpful and flexible in the way she teaches my son who has dyslexia. I truly recommend.
Simran is super kind and helpful. Her organization and scheduling really helps me stay on top of my lessons to make sure I’m ready for my tests
